The film stars Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Srinidhi Shetty, Malavika Avinash, and Saran in lead roles. The film is the sequel to the 2018 film KGF: Chapter 1, and it follows the story of Rocky, who has now become the king of the Kolar Gold Fields (KGF). He must now face new threats, both internal and external, as he strives to expand his empire.

The film begins with a flashback to Rocky's childhood. He is orphaned at a young age and is raised by his mother, Shanthamma. She instills in him a strong sense of ambition and a desire to achieve great things. Rocky grows up to be a ruthless gangster, and he eventually becomes the king of KGF.

In the present day, Rocky is faced with a new threat from Adheera, a powerful warrior who wants to take over KGF.
